ADMISSIONS AT REDDAM HOUSE SCHOOL

Entry points at Reddam House School are Kindergarten, Year 5 and Year 7. Applications for entry into other years will be considered as places arise. Due to the high demand for places, we advise parents to apply for entry well before the desired year of entry.

LOCAL APPLICATION

Students who hold Australian citizenship, Australian residency or whose parents are business visa holders, are considered local applicants. To complete your application simply:

Submit an online Application for Enrolment
A copy of applicant’s most recent school report and NAPLAN results if applicable
Birth certificate
X2 passport photos
Payment of $175 application fee

INTERNATIONAL APPLICATION

Reddam House welcomes applications for admission from abroad. To complete your application under the Student visa (subclass 500), you must:

Submit an online Application for Enrolment
A copy of applicant’s most recent school report and NAPLAN results if applicable
Birth certificate
X2 passport photos
Passport
Visa Documentation
Payment of $175 application fee

ALLOCATION OF PLACES

Kindergarten and Year 5: Assessments and interviews will take place twelve months before the date of entry. This will involve a review of your child’s application, a campus tour and meeting with the school Principal.

Year 7: Twelve to eighteen months prior to entry we will begin the allocation of places for entry into Year 7. Applicants on the waiting list are notified and required to reconfirm their interest by submitting a recent school report, NAPLAN, and any additional information that may be relevant to your application.

We will assess applications based on academic ability, and non-academic interests and achievements. The next step is to invite applicants to an interview with the Principal and make a formal offer of enrolment after that.

CHANGES TO APPLICATIONS

Subsequent to making an application, if you wish to amend the point of entry for which you have applied, you must make this request in writing to the Admissions Officer, including your child’s full name, date of birth, current entry point and calendar year for which you have applied, and the new point of entry and calendar year for which you wish to apply.
